We created a list of small local businesses & services we would love to recommend for you. Feel free also to share this post with your partner as a giant, unapologetic hint.

We created it with an ongoing world epidemic in mind. This is why great Seattle SPA spots didn’t make our list. We call it a “St Valentine’s Day Wish list” since every single one of these products and services you will have wished you had already purchased awhile ago.

Photoshoot

A private photoshoot is a gem of a gift. You can’t go wrong with this! It will either be an individual session to admire your partner’s inner and outer beauty, or a couple’s session to celebrate your love. It will stay in your memories forever and add a unique vibe to your photo wall collection.
Furthermore, we have a perfect photographer for you as well. Meet Bethany. She creates poetic & elegant portraits and picks the most amazing spots for your sessions.
It will cost you $400 for an engagement shoot or $300 for a regular session.

Jewelry

You might also be thinking about something unique, sparkling, and handcrafted. You wanted to gift something special that can be worn for years to come and lift your partner’s mood every single day.

J. Lewis Jewelry is the best family-owned jewelry store in the Pacific Northwest. It’s located in Bellevue and has an onsite workshop to create your beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces. We love their bracelet collection.

They also offer an elegant Travel jewelry collection with simulated diamonds for around $100 apiece.

Dessert

If you love to celebrate St Valentine’s day with a sweet touch, then you should hurry. Great places sell out quickly! Preorder a box of French macarons or a Heart-Shaped Mousse Cake from La Cherie Bakery based in Redmond.

They also offer a mouthwatering Gift set for St. Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped mini cakes for $50.

Romantic picnic

Having a romantic brunch nowadays is as challenging because restaurants are only open for takeout & delivery. (It’s also hard to stay open-minded and creative while trying to find the opportunity to arrange everything while sharing the same space with your partner 24/7, not to mention constantly thinking if it is time to change the filter in your mask.)

Let Picnic Date Seattle prepare everything for you. They offer picnic service set-ups with various themes at any location of your choice within the Seattle area. They will bring sparkling water, beautiful blankets & pillows, flowers, flatware & napkins, dinner plates, wine glasses, customized letter board, lights, and even hand sanitizer.

Aromatherapy

Smells play an important part in our lives. The right ones let us travel in time, bring back the best moments, and even help us deal with stress and anxiety.

A fantastic team of three cousins founded an ELM Candle Bar where they offer a choice of signature candles hand-poured locally in Seattle with the blends like Blackberry, Basil, and Champagne. But they also sell a Candle Home Kit with their 90 premium fragrance oils to choose from: “Create a candle at your own pace or invite others to a Zoom party to create a candle together.”

Needless to say, the latest power outage incident (that still hasn’t been resolved in all the areas) reminded us that having a candle is necessary rather than just an aroma treat.

Food

Our Wish list wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t include a place where you can order excellent food and drinks for this special day.

Woodblock is not just another family-owned restaurant with delicious menus and cocktails. It is a vital part of the city and offers a beautiful, normal, and COVID-free Redmond Downtown nightlife.

Our favorite items on the menu are their Squash and Arugula salad and Woodblock Burger. They offer burgers with an Impossible vegan patty that makes this place a gem for all the vegetarians in the area.

They also offer Gift cards that can be presented to your parents, siblings, or friends and make their St. Valentine’s day a little more special.
